Cartridge & Print Head Cleaner
Our Cartridge and Print Head Cleaner is a specially formulated solvent that cuts through the dried ink and paper dust that normally impairs print quality. It helps rejuvenate sponge-type cartridges and restores print quality.
Using our Cartridge and Print Head Cleaner will help you extend the life of you cartridge by 30%.
If a cartridge has been left unused or stored for a long period of time, it's print nozzles may be blocked with dried ink. Print nozzles are very delicate and sensitive and if any substance other than a specifically formulated solvent is used to clean them, damage to the nozzles and print head is likely to occur.
How to use:
Using a container such as a bowl, add just enough Cartridge & Print Head Cleaner to cover the print head (the copper area were the ink comes out) of your cartridge and allow it to soak for 15 minutes to clean the blocked print nozzles and restore print quality. Note: For tough to unclog cartridges, warming up the Cartridge & Print Head Cleaner will perform better.
For sponge type cartridges with or with out print head. Filling them with the specific amount stated on our Refill Instructions for your cartridge model; will rejuvenate the sponge, remove dry ink and prolong the life of your cartridge.
Most cartridges life can be prolonged by adding Cartridge & Print Head Cleaner every 3rd refill. Note: Prior to adding new ink, inject 3-5 ml of our cleaning solution into the cartridge and allow it to sit on a bowl or at the sink with the print head or outlet port making contact with a paper towel for about two hours to draw out the cleaning solution and dry ink.
